More information:

How does it work?

If you have a valid username and password at the University of Szeged then you can use Internet on the campus of every university which provides WiFi that is connected to eduroam. Similarly, visitors coming from other universities and having a valid pair of eduroam username and password in their home institution can use it at our university, too.

Where can I eduroam?

Presently at the University of Szeged you can use eduroam in the University Library/TIK and in the building of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

The worldwide spread of the Eduroam is shown on this map:

How can I have such a username and password?

It is very simple: if you are a registered user of the University Library your eduroam access can easily be activated.

Your username comes from your reader’s ticket or your student ID working as a reader’s ticket: you should add to the barcode number of the card to make it look like an e-mail address.

The password can be derived from your birth date in the following way: if you were born on January 1, 1970 your password is

01-JAN-70 .

What to do if can not use Eduroam though I have enrolled in the Library?
